I’m ambivalent about Wednesdays today. Normally I think they are okay, but today, I’m not so sure. Maybe if it was warmer, or if Wednesday was payday. I may have to move Wednesday slightly further down on the scale.
Then again, it is the halfway point in the workweek, so it has that going for it. (See, I’m not going to say hump day because all the adolescents in the audience will start giggling and I will be forced to give you the stink-eye. You don’t want that.)
Wednesday: good or bad?
Today, bad. I’m literally falling asleep at my desk.
It all depends how the first part of the week has gone…if the first part was bad then I’m awfully glad to see Wednesday and at least have the week be half over. If the first part of the week was great, than I don’t get all that excited about Wednesday.
I like Wednesdays – especially the ones that involves endless parading in jammies or jeans, which in my case is the majority of them. The beauty of technolgy is that you can be heard and not seen, unless of course you want to. The day they make corporate web-cams mandatory I am flagging out. People in general just aren’t ready for pink fluffies, obviously bad hair days and matching green face glopp.
That aside – Wednesday is like a middle child – for which I have great understanding and sympathy, having decades of experiece in the area. Wednesdays sort of can’t ever really win, but never gives up trying. It’s 7AM and you JUST realize you have a shot at finishing EVERYTHING whatever that may be this week. FOR ONCE!!! Especially if you skip lunch (save an hour and an inch). Somehow, bt by 3PM you are in a panic, because there is NO WAY IN you CAN finish, and then the realization hits – there are fewer total available in the week than it was just hours ago.
I hate Wednesdays, usually running out of energy, lack of sleep catching up to me and then you realize you have several days to go before the weekend.. Jerry
It’s a sort of non event day. I can say that now because it’s Friday, which I think you will agree, is a much better day.
Hey, Anon – you trying to guilt me into not hating Wednesdays, like your the boss of me or something? š
Well, as long as someone(*cough*) doesn’t interrupt me with some forgotten task that screws up the REST of my day…
I assumed if that same someone relocates, she would insist on webcams to keep track of her minions, no?
