I’m having a minor health issue which is a result of a side effect of medication I’m on. (Got that? Good.) I won’t name here but I’ll hint that “Tucks” are made to deal with it. Today I called the Dr.’s office because I wanted to know if a)he has the definitive solution/medication for the problem, or b)he wants to see me. When the nurse called back with his response, it was basically, eat roughage, drink more water, don’t strain, and avoid sitting. (My emphasis)
How on earth do you avoid sitting? I mean seriously, how can that even be a suggestion? I can do all the others. Those are easy. But avoid sitting? How am I going to get my work done? How will I watch TV? How will I drive to my endocrinologist appointment this afternoon?
